Everything on the loom is a result
of geometry and right angles.
The most gentle curve or mogra
is a product of pixels on the loom.
Grid returns to this basic nature
through architectural drawing, the
works of Nasreen Mohamedi, and
colourless black and white.
Each of these informs visual geometry
on an invisible grid, whose repetition
is punctuated by brief surprises of
an extra weft insertion.
